10 days. 10 DAYS UNTIL HALLOWEEN.


I can't believe how fast October went, and here we are, the Shady Manor crew, looking at our third year of providing the trick-or-treaters of Montvale something to remember on Halloween.


I believe this year has the potential to be our best year yet, and even though we are almost done with the manor, we can't fall short on the details that make our haunted house great.


There are still a lot of things to do tomorrow:
-Finish the last portion of the maze
-Pre-cut walls to be put up on Halloween
-Shady Manor Sign
-Ribbon entrances at doors to rooms/and in front
-Put television in
-Figure out wiring for outdoor/indoor electronics (lights, tv, music)
-Plan out who is doing what on Halloween night
-Complete Dress Rehearsal


SO! Here's the schedule for tomorrow.
8:00-3:00 school 
4:00-5:00 exclusive performance by The Sightseers (We have a practice tomorrow, you can hang out if you do so please)
5:00-11:00 Shady Manor


Guys please come whenever you can, I know we're almost done, but this meeting will be especially important on figuring out all of the details.

Friday Bloody Friday

Hey manor folks,
I just want to start this post by thanking everyone from last Friday, we got alot done in a little time, and we're making really good progress. thanks guys.


Now onto business. Believe it or not, Halloween is 23 days away, and we have half a maze, some unfinished plans, and no decorations up. Yeah guys, it's time to put the pedal to the metal and get some work done. That's what tomorrow is for. 


If you can make it tomorrow that'd be great, we literally need all hands on deck if we want to finish this and make it as amazing as it could be.


Here's just a brief rundown of what still needs to be done:
-Finish Maze 
-Room Decor Ideas
-Actually Decorate Rooms
-Figure out front yard (lights/taylor and leannes cool moss)
-Video
-Fliers
-Figure out who's doing what roles on Halloween night.


Alright guys, everyone please text me if/when/how long you can come. There's some personal questions down below. If you see your name, answer the question when you text me.

It Begins...

Alright everyone, this Friday we begin working on 
Shady Manor Year III.


I realize everyone's schedule is a little crazy this Friday, but we'll be working pretty much from 4 to 10 so if at all possible, come on over any time between then, you obviously don't have to be here all day...unless you're crazy (like me) and actually want to staple plastic for 6 hours.


Also, this year we're sticking with a theme, (no more just random rooms) so the rooms will kinda tell a story. Without giving too much away, it's the story of a crazy old guy who captures trick or treaters with-in the Manor. 


We're going to try and shoot a small video about the story for one of the rooms, so be prepared to act. This may or may not happen tomorrow depending on time.


Also this year I want to make the front of the Garage look kinda spooky. I'm not quite sure how I want to do this, so if you guys wanna brainstorm some ideas that'd be great.

WELCOME BACK! 

First of all, thanks for reading this website, I knew I couldn't fit everything I needed to say in a text.

Second of all, WE ARE ABOUT TO BEGIN SHADY MANOR YEAR 3.

As all of us know, Halloween in Montvale just hasn't been the same since we were kiddies. When we were young, decorations, friendly neighbors, and candy was at EVERY HOUSE. These days, it's hard to find a house with a simple pumpkin on their doorstep.

Shady Manor aims to change that. This year we bring Halloween back to Montvale!

This weekend will officially be our first meeting. We're getting started so late, we gotta DO WORK FAST (Sorry Tuck, that means you gotta keep your shirt on). Text me what days this weekend work for you guys. 

Lets give the children of Montvale the Halloween they deserve.
